Romanian celebrations are very slow to come to and end. My friends had the foresight to reserve rooms at the hotel so we wouldn't have to drive back to Poarta at 3am. I was on my good behavior at the party and by not getting too carried away with the ţuică I was able to wake up feeling refreshed with only a few hours of sleep.
